Death screen now has a button that allows to spawn player inside mission area preventing a block. As of my knowledge right now there is a bug which will kill you every 4 seconds saying you are leaving the mission areaand kills u in 4 secs. The devs are aware of this issue and its one of the top things on their priority list rn.
Whenever you do face the only way out bug in dying light 2, try doing something else like a side quest or some exploration. Did someone manage to respawn himself somewhere else? Bug reports on your files.

Dying light 2 stay human. Despite the bug fix that was recently released with a new patch, it seems that this issue still persists. Pretty much you get stuck into a leaving the mission area loop and just die over and over and over.
This may not be the way you want. You might lose a bit of progress, but if you’re stuck in the middle of a quest, you’re not making any. When i reload, i am in the same safe house and it kills me in 4 seconds.
